Starting an ISP business through VSAT in Central Africa
-The ultimate goal will be to have a powerfull connection in order to provide Highspeed to local business and residents through Wimax or Wireless Local Loop in 50 km radius -As Internet cafe shops with VOIP will constitute one of the main customers the bandwith has to be optimal -We will start by connecting our own internet cafe of 40 PCs wich will be in our main office where the VSAT will be installed, so directly connected by wire -We will grow by penetrating the local market as we will be ISP to other Internet cafe, business and residents one by one -So the system that we are looking for has to be able start small and grow as our need to eventually reach our ultimate Goal mentionned above -As for the Wimax or WLL, it will be integrated as we grow from our Internet cafe to ISP, so our system provider has to be able to implement it when requested So if anyone can make us an offer with all the specifications and cost firstly for our ultimate goal and secondly for the Internet cafe including a VOIP solution, and how we can make the transition. It sounds as though you have a well thought our plan and that's the best place to start. Given that wifi or wimax is in the picture, I would advise consideration of a bandpass filter at which time you would migrate to this level if c band services are chosen. The frequency range is typically close enough to cause degradation to the satellite link.
We offer a range of services that will allow growth at any rate. We can offer single site services with discounts available once a volume is reached to allow a reseller option as well as the ability to migrate from shared service to a dedicated link and onto a VNO and hopefully eventually a hub. We are a US based company that owns and operates a teleport in Sweden currently with 2 iDirect Hubs as well as point to point SCPC options and space for equipment. We have a variety of available capacity. Can you provide your cafe location so we have a place to start? Would you need equipment as well? I hope to hear from you soon. |
