Title: Not able to access HX-50 Modem Post by sandeep on Aug 25th, 2010 at 12:06am
Hi All,
need a help!! I hav an HX-50 modem which was working fine but due to some reason i hve erased all config by "rf" command using telnet session. and reconfigured the modem using web access of modem by default ip of 192.168.0.1. after that I m not able to access it using defaut ip and i hav not given any LAN IP coz it automatically take from NOC via satellite link. I think in reconfiguration something i hav mis-configured that it is not coming up. Now how can i restore or change the settings coz its unaccessible. current LED status: Power-flashing receive : steady LAN : steady. Is there anyway to get the console back??? |

you should contact your SP to get ip detail for you account, as per your mention cannot get ip after software download from, there are 2 reason for this problem
1) Noc remove default IP template ( that why you cannot acces default ip) 2) Noc didnt assign DHCP profile solution: please get detail about your ip from your ISP |

Dear Sandeep,
Yes, I suggest contact your ISP. Please drop an e-mail to support@bentleywalker.com with the ESN number of your Hughes HX modem and you will get an instant reply. Regards, |

It is not downloading software..coz system is not blinking..
as i remember wt mistake might happen is that i have configured net ip 192.168.0.0/24 in LAN1 IP schema in webaccess console. Now due to invalid ip i think its not accessible. Any way to get it restore to factory settings?? |
