Title: iDirect EVO X3 message explanation
Post by andyflower on Jun 10th, 2011 at 7:37pm
hi all,
everynow and then, i'm receiving the following messages on my X3 console:

[B0EB] /tmp/X3.41939.pkg (4104) - Ignored (target-list).

can anybody please explain!

All of the remotes in the network listen to the downstream carrier (downstream carrier being the forward/outbound from the hub).  That outbound (either TDM or S2/ACM) contains traffic for ALL remotes, therefore traffic not destined for a particular remote is ignored.  The pkg file that you discuss above is a pkg destined for remote 41939 (an X3), therefore it is ignored by your remote.  Make sense?
