Hi ,

We have onc CNC circuti in Kabul with W7 satellite .We have done good tracking and circuit also working fine. But the issue is everyday evening between 4- 6 pm it is going down for few min and again coming up .

We checked the feed and LNB BUC and connectivities also but still  the issue was there .But whenever the link is up it is working fine.

so can u pls suggest us how to solve the issue ?

Thanks in advance .

It is not due to receive noise sun outages at your site.  Your receive sun outages will have been 4th - 11th October for a few minutes at about 9:30 am GMT (early afternoon where you are) each day.  Outages at your paired hub teleport, wherever it may be, are also out of range, date wise.

If the outage is on your receive side, I would suspect temperature change. Does the antenna LNB go into sun shadow at 4 - 6 pm ?. This could cause failure of a connector or intermittent loss of LNB operation due to a faulty DRO oscillator in the LNB that stops sometimes.

Local interference would cause the receive to fail at your site. Does any kind of nearby electrical equipment operate at that time. Radar, neon signs, air conditioning motors, someone with hand held radio who regularly patrols past nearby.

It is possible that your service outage is caused at the hub teleport.  Ask them if they notice any anomaly.

There is the possibility of cross-pol interference on the satellite.  For example, an outside broadcast TV channel relay may operate for 2 hours between 4 and 6pm each day on the opposite polarisation to you.  Get help from your teleport hub.  The fault could be the other people or it could be due to you not have adjusted your polarisation (rotation of the feed asembly) with sufficient accurately.  This is quite possible if your service has no one using the other polarisation for most of the time, as you would never know till their service was activated.

Best regards, Eric.
