Solar eclipse 2026

Time and Date: 7pm 12 August 2026.

Location: Galleywood Common, Chelmsford, Essex, UK

Strange blurred crescent shaped images on the ground in horse racing track on Galleywood Common. Unfortunately around 7pm in the evening so long distances and large blurry images.  Far better results were observed when the eclipse was nearer noon, as per the previous eclipse event.

Clear crescent shaped images on the Church wall just after 7pm.

More sharp crescents, all beamed down at an angle from above. Here better displayed on a vertical surface.

Wow. Tree in the graveyard on the receiving end of more beams from outer space.

The verge, some time ago, when not so dry !
