I have forwarded the information.  I am awaiting details of the exact customer location in northern Somalia (Somaliland).

Location is critical in respect of many Africa/Middle East beam coverage patterns. Many Ku beams cover only part of Somalia and the northern end is particularly difficult.

What is the elevation angle like for the C band coverage ?

Best regards, Eric.

For anyone else in Somalia I am pleased to be able to tell you that there is now a VSAT installer in Mogadisho.
The local engineer is able to handle VSAT systems with SCPC links and iDirect up to 3.8m antenna systems.

Contact Oasis Networks - Nimrod Kapon at nkapon@anarf.com

Best regards, Eric
