Required Network prolific candidate for front line technical support for VSAT/Satellite Internet customers based in – Iraq, Afghanistan, Africa and South America.

Candidates applying from within U.A.E. - to be given preferences

Job will include :

1. trouble shooting day to day VSAT issues with speeds, etc. Take customer complaints and liaise with main NOC to resolve it timely manner
2. bring up new sites in any of the above regions
3. Platforms are on – Hughes and iDirect
4. Tools to be used is Phones, MSN Messenger, Emails and internet and external helpdesk support
5. Disconnection/reconnection of terminals
6. updating the database
7. Sending out mail shots / newsletters to clients
8. sending automated invoices to clients

Qualities required in Candidate are :

1. Graduate in Computer Science or Network related field- good knowledge of LAN / WAN and IP concepts
2. Excellent communications skills ( both  Spoken and Written ) in English [ Arabic will be an advantage]
3. self motivated and independent  
4. good computers skills e.g. FTP skills
5. router and switch configuration
6. Experience with hardware and software issues.
7. Proficient in Internet related applications such as E-Mail clients, FTP clients and Web Browsers.
6. Experience in Helpdesk/support field.
