Dish size has been a big issue in Afghanistan.  A Ku-band service has been successfully tested on a 1.2m Dish using a 2W BUC via an iDirect X3 modem.  Interested parties, please contact me on janice@isatafrica.com for more details.

Hi

1.2m's have been pretty standard in Afghanistan for 2-3 years, using W6/W7 and a 2w Hughes Universal BUC.

Now services are available on KA-Band in Afghanistan using a 74-98cm dish.

Regards,

Dave.
