Constellation Networks Corporation can offer either dedicated SCPC service or shared services powered by iDirect Technologies depending on the network that needs support. The typical equipment package consists of a 2.4m c band linear feed antenna, 5 watt BUC, DRO LNB, NetModem and a cable kit at the cost of $7345. Equipment could vary depending on the requirements. I am happy to know that there is level of interest in Kandy for wireless broadband Internet.

In fact I am preparing report to be presented to Sri Lankan government to set up island wide wireless broadband service. My report in nutshell is to cover all the schools in the country by providing free Internet access and then sell the services to any one who wish to pay for it.

Pilot unit to trail the technologies, equipments and services and to demonstrate the service is expected to set up in Colombo, Kandy or Kurunegala. On the success of the pilot project services will be expanded to the whole Island.
