Hi
I want details about TV satellites. I'm having a 90 cm dish with Ku band LNB.  Is there any possible channel from any other satellite other than NSS 6 and Europe Star 45' east.  If there is any possible, please give me a reply.  Thank you.

Hello,
You will get two satellites receptions (NSS6 & Pas12) only by your 90 cm. offset dish in your area, because these satellite's EIRP (gain) are more than 50. There are so many satellites with so many channels like NSS703, YAMOL202, PAS4 and so on but for this you require specific high gain FRP Dish Antenna. If you have the hobby of dxing then go further for best setup.
You welcome.

Hi, I recently bought the DishTv system with its receiver and antenna, it shows only NSS6 as a satellite ans shows only free channels of DD, Can you tell me is it possible to tune the dish for any other satellite? or i had seen in sites that NSS6 having more channels like AFN prime etc. but i am getting only DD and some indian channels only listed, is it problem with receiver as they had been pre programmed? Please advice.

You told about getting a better dish, can you advice me about types of dishes and receivers and avg cost of them at chennai . Thanks in advance.

Cost of the dish is according to its size, mesh or soild etc. Aluminium dishes are costly and a 8 feet dish is aruond Rs.4000. Some are as low as Rs.1000 for the same 8 feet but I don't remember the name of material which is used in that kind of dishes. I am also from Chennai using a 8 feet aluminium dish.
