portable satellite Internet self install??

We would like to buy a reasonably priced portable satellite Internet system and install it ourselves. We would use it at our house for 6 months and then take it on the road in our 5th wheel for 6 months in the south. However after searching the Internet for such a system, we only found one dealer... Maxwell Satellite.
Questions: Is anyone familiar with Maxwell? Are there any other dealers that allow you to install a portable system yourself? We are both computer literate and electronically inclined.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
