I have been trying to get info about HughesNet services and whether or not I'll be able to transfer my service to a new location. I've looked around www.elitesat.com/hughes-net.asp but would appreciate if anybody knows about it.

The generic answer is yes. But that's about as specific as I can get, till you provide more details of the move.

Well, let's start with locations; where is the dish now, and to where are you intending to relocate it? Also, to which satellite and transponder are you currently assigned?

Ok, that's 2 out of 3. To where do you intend to move it?

Moving to Austin quite soon. Sorry about that forgot to put it in my post. Would I have to be on a different satellite?

Honestly, this is like pulling teeth. Austin where? There are more than a dozen Austins in the US, and several more in Canada.

Texas, why would I leave it at just Austin if I didn't expect people to know where it was. Austin Texas.
