If you have an RX LED illuminated then the problem is more than likely:

1. The HUB still has you deactivated
2. The Modem doesnt know its location (FSD is provided via hardcoding in the opt or by gps_input device).  Without an FSD value the transmitter will remain muted.
3. Your Rx SNR is so low the transmitter is remaining muted (thus meaning you need to peak and pol (check this in telnet by typing rx snr at the prompt).  The value needs to be greater than 6 db (C/N) to transmit....optimal (most budgets) are around 10.0db+ but 6 will enable the transmitter.
4. You have a problem with the iDirect box itself (least likely of the 4 recommendations).

My guess is you are still deactivated or the Hub operator has not configured your Fixed location or Mobile parameters (whichever applies). That, or you are way off peak/pol.

Do you know if you are operating that box GEO FIXED (lat/long hardcoded) or as a MOBILE remote (GPS input device providing NMEA)?

I just noticed that you said your NET LED is RED.  If that is the case, you may have a hardware problem or incorrectly loaded the software on the iDirect unit.

What version did you install?

So the modem you are having issues with is version 8.0.1?

Did you load the software (packages) yourself?

If so, confirm with me that you loaded the BSP, followed by the 8.0.1. image...and (lastly) its associated options file?
