Hello All,

I Have a question that when i telnet the iDirect modem from iMonitor ; let say i am using 192.168.1.4/30 Pool

Modem Ip = 192.168.1.5
Router Ip = 192.168.1.6

Why the iDirect modem is not pinging the router ip from device from the iDirect modem as it is physically connected to the router ???

P.S. packets are untagged and are without VLAN.

Does the router allow ping replys?
does the link on the router say UP UP?
does the modem see the link? I.e No LAN DISCONNECTED alarms?

Have you tried using RIPv2 in your routing protocols?
