JOB Description : --------------------- Mainly responsible for the configuration, maintenance and trouble free operation of Broadband via Satellite Hubs of ECC (a ViaSat Company) and iDirect (iNIFINITI and Evolution Networks).
Frequency planning, up gradation and resource planning for upcoming clients; also responsible for coordination with the remote engineers during installation process.
Identifying prospective clients, mapping their requirements and designing of proposals & conducting techno-commercial presentations for new business development and providing technical support to Sales/Presales team. Also involved in coordination with vendors / Satellite operators for equipment and service provisioning.
Experience of installation and configuration of TDM SCPC network based on Comtech’s CDM-570L modems and CDD-564L demodulators using IP connectivity. Worked on Vipersat Management System using the same network.
Bench testing and Level 2 troubleshooting of different VSAT Links that mainly involve products from Comtech, Radyne and Datum etc.
Managing and optimizing operational and installation processes, vendor management, maintenance of the teleport infrastructure, fault finding and troubleshooting, expansion planning etc.
