Internet satellite providers for Cyprus

Does anyone here successfully use satellite internet in Cyprus? The Pafos region to be more specific.

There is a provider in Cyprus but it uses a miidle east satellite (OrbiSat) which is blocked by a mountain where we live so I am looking for a european satellite (one that is positioned further west of Cyprus).

I am in Kalavasos and use Europeonline (now Broadsat Italian Company - taking over EOL). It uses Eutelsat W3. It is a one way system.

i am moving to cyprus next april do you do unlimited use of internet for a monthly fee or does it go on phone bill

Hi Everyone,

I am from the North side of the island and I was wondering if there are any companies that support broadband access (be it through satellite or not) in the north. Buying it directly from an international company would also be an option. Also, I am currently in the States so if I can pick something up from here that would be even better..

There are many internet providers in the north of cyprus using satellites to connect you to the web but there are also some using fiber optic. Extend broadband in girne for example, they offer secure connections.

How are you doing Sir?

In a project with i-SCPC technology and in both side of the project we have two idirect 5350.
After making the connection, we have RX SNR for both side and RX, Tx & Net LEDs are green but the status LED is off.

What is your advice for this problem?
