I have installed Viasat Surfbeam Satellite Internet Broadband. The problem is... i can't monitor RX signal during pointing process due to lack of interface with the modem....

My question is the any 3rd party software that can interface with my Surfbeam Modem

for ur info... i try to avoid using satellite finder as it is very difficult to get it at my place....

Pls advice...

Regards

Does anyone know how low the signal can be before it looses lock? Will the hub get any errors reported or will it lock up their system if no word detect is present?

If you bought the ViaSat Surfbeam modem from Wildblue it will come with a Ka band dish and will work in the Anik F-2 coverage. ref: https://www.satsig.net/ka-band-anik-f2-wildblue-telesat.htm

If anyone knows of other VSAT hubs compatible with the ViaSat Surfbeam modem, please say here.

Best regards, Eric.
