WildBlue certification

I have been trying to decide if I should pursue Direcway or Wildblue (installer training) certification.

DSI, a major wildblue distributor, has a schedule of classes posted on their website. Yet my request for info  seem to fall on deaf ears.

I guess my decision is made..

Contact your nearby electricity cooperatives and talk to someone - ask if you can join one of their courses.
Best regards, Eric.

gman I have had the same problem.. I Have even gone as far as talking to someone at dsi that said to email him the info for myself & The several installers that I Have here to get training (there currently isnt anyone in my area doing wild blue) & I Was assured that I Would be getting the info to begin training immeaditly & I never heard back after that call.. If anyone knows who to talk to at WB or DSI or whoever to get certified please let me know...

You have to call DSI and tell them you want to enroll in a Wildblue class before they will tell you anything. It's even harder to get in to a Direcway(Hughes Net) class, then you have cert. on their different dishes and modems later on the internet.

As for your Hughes Cert Get ahold of Perfect 10 or a local dealer they can help with training class schedules. Wild Blue tech's are going to be in demand this summer as DTV rolls out their Wild lue promo, same as Dish, and ATT did last year. No way the inhouse guys can handle this work load, nor should they. Heck they hae a hard enough time with a basic install for TV....
