Problems with DW6000 - Africa

HI all,
I have a DW6000, with HUGHES Prodelin 1.2m dish Ku - BAND Rx/Tx Series 1134.
I'm trying to do the pointing myself; I used some software dish pointing calculator to get the right azimuth, elevation, and polarization.
I think I did everything right, but after all I couldn’t get a signal above 18%!!!
I contacted my suppliers, and they said that too much time elapsed from the date my Vsats shipped until I received them, and now they became obsolete!
Recently my suppliers sent me a new BUC and IDirect 3000 router as a replacement, and still ...no luck with this!!
I also find it so hard to use the (I site) antenna pointing software.

So …my questions are:

1- Does these kind of replacements usually works ?
2- Can I still use the old BUC and DW6000 to try finding better signal?

- Any other suggestions?

Thanks a lot

I have just written a page about setting up a 1.2m Ku band dish in Darfur to work to PAS10 with iDirect service.

see: https://www.satsig.net/africa/idirect-vsat-sudan.htm

If anyone knows who actually operates the iDirect hub and where it is located and the outlink carrier frequency, please say.

Best regards, Eric.
