okay, been riunning this DW4000 for years. Recently I paid my bill but the check bounced and they disconnected me. I called and paid over the phone and all was well (sortof). But i could not get to reconnect. Still can't. Been on tech support forever and they tell me I have to get a new 7000 or 9000 setup for big bucks and upgrade the service with a new contract.
I KNOW my 4000 worked before. Is there any reason why it shoudl not work now? My modem is dead so I cant do websetup. Is that the problem?
If I get a new 6000 or newer modem set, can I get it to work with my current setup from DW? Or do I have to jump thru hoops and do a new contract? I guess I am wondering if I can get a new self contained 6000 or newer modem to "look" like my 4000 did to them and work properly.
