Help me find satellite 97 west

Hello friends

I'm at 37.436491 N 121.892885 W
Which way do I point my 30" dish to get satellite 97 west

Is it to the left of 110-119 dish network?
Can anyone help with this please ?

i did try that but still i get no luck getting 97'

i have seen lots of ppl from california getting that but may be i need to work and read some more

Biggest mistake most people make plugging the numbers straight in, without actually reading the instructions - specifically, where it mentions the minus sign (-). Or where it says to use decimal degrees instead of DMS. Numbers representing west longitude and south latitude must be preceded by the minus sign. Try again, see if you have better luck, and don't forget in this cast - - that both you AND the satellite are west longitude.

Or is the problem that you've found the satellite but can't get any transponder signals? A lot of stuff on IA5 looks like FTA, and you're not going to get that with DishNetwork hardware.

you are so right at 1st i did had that problem of (-)

but after i fix that i do get lots of tv chanels i cant get the quality of signal to go up .i dont use dish network.

i have a 75cm dish and im using a coolsat4000
i get chanels and when i look at the glob chanel chart
its all difrent chanels i know once i had got the bev chanels from canda then i moved it to west and not what i get is not the chanels i was looking for

Im located in queens,NY im using infusion receiver i need help in locating a satelite that can pick up alijazero in arabic and other arabic channels and i also need the most accurate dish and LNB that i can use with my infusion receiver thank you in advance.
