As I stated in the other forum,
"If you're pointing your own dish, there's no "satellite finder" in your apparent price range that can satisfy your requirements. The majority of professional installers are even reluctant to part with that kind of money.
Do you even know which satellite you're supposed to be pointing at? Have you been assigned a specific transponder yet? If you do know which satellite/transponder, have you obtained the AZ/EL/Pol angles required to acquire the correct signal ?"
