i run internet via satellite and have many clients.
my security of the net is trough mac adresses,one of my client had laptop ,dell insiron5100 and dwl 2100 access point i am forced to put the two macs ,one of the laptop and the other of the access point to let him get the net, is there is any way to use only one mac.
help me thanks

While you did not state what does the Mac Filtering for you, I want to also assume that your clients laptop connects to your network via the Dwl2100 access point.
So I would expect that if you add the MAC of the dwl2100 to the deny list of whatever you use for your security, it would also block his notebook from browsing.
So why should you add the two MACs when you can add only that of the access point and still achieve same result?

ARE YOU STILL ON MAC ADDRESS FILTERING OF A THING ... ?

HOW MANY MAC ADDRESS CAN YOU ACCESS POINT CAN FILTER......... ?

CONSIDER IF YOU HAVE 200 TO 1000 CLIENTS WILL YOU STILL YOU MAC ADDRESS ?

DO YOU NEED A BETE SOLUTION FOR THIS ..... ?
