Consortium of VSAT Engineers

A number of VSAT engineers in Africa have formed a "Consortium of VSAT Engineers", currently with contacts in Botswana, Zimabawe, Mozambique and Zambia

They are inviting engineers in the SADC region who are interested to be part of consortium.  Contact them and they will exam you and check that you are qualified according to their standards.

The contact person for hub and other network operators is: Nobert  e-mail; ngudo@it.bw  cell; +267 72195801

Installers interested in joining should, in the first instance, write Nobert an e-mail with resume and profile.

Best regards, Eric.

Hi eric
Of what use is this consortium please?or are we looking at forming a union or something

You need to ask Nobert.  My hope would be that you would get to know other people in the same business, share ideas, help each other, train and qualify new people.    Belonging to some 'professional body' will encourage pride in the job and perhaps even impress customers.

If anyone doesn't want to join you are still welcome to have your name added to page: satellite internet installers in Africa or even a whole page about you if you want.

My idea is to be helpful to anyone looking for an installer and to help installers contact each other when they need help or advice.

Best regards, Eric.
