I am looking at starting an Internet cafe in Bohol, Philippines. This is near Cebu.

I am looking for a good value internet feed by satellite.

Looking at supporting 10 to 15 workstations via proxy server.

If anybody is providing a good value service into this area, please provide approx costs for equipment, installation and monthly fee against bandwidth.

You may contact me at iain@3cubesmedia.com with details etc.

Hi,

Not a good idea to put up internet cafe (10-15 terminals) via vsat. Monthly fees will not be recovered as price is too high.

but knowing Bohol as tourist destination, this might be an added service for your business or something then it is possible as long as you are ready to shell out Php35000-50000 a month for a 64kbps or 128kbps connection speed.

Better seek your local telco's best solution for you.
