Dear Sir,
Good day to you!
It's true that C-Band equipments are expensive, but it can be compensated with the cost of the bandwidth. Ku-Band bandwidth cost is about 3 times more expensive than C-Band bandwidth.
Another good thing about C-Band is that it's more stable and reliable than Ku-Band, especially during rainy days or bad weather conditions.
So, if you can solve the problem for the space for the 3.8-meter dish and you are after of reliability and you are capable of a bigger initial investment, then I strongly recommend you to use C-Band. In the long run, you will surely find out that it would be much cheaper because you will only invest one time the costly equipments and paying the cheaper bandwidth monthly, while for Ku-Band, as long as you will continue using it, you have to pay its expensive bandwidth continuously in a monthly basis.
I hope this will give you some lights.
Thank you very much.
Best Regards,
Handeil
