We just got a system in are trying to get this thing to work. I have reached a peak signal of 15 (no sat meter) after aiming the dish verbatim.

I have triple checked the settings in the modem, I have the current settings (11234, 8000000) and I am using only a single line from the "white box" to the sat in. I have read many posts on here and have tried to do everything mentioned in the posts before posting but I can't get this thing to talk. I have even rechecked my GPS, recalculated the angles and tried that, to no avail. The sat. looks just like the pictures and there are no direct blockages along the path of the azimuth.

If anyone has any suggestions or wouldn't mind coming on over to take a peak that would be great. My internet access (to read the board) and my time is pretty crunched so replying to my e-mail (daniel.higdon@us.army.mil).

If you are in the neighborhood of BLDG 1701, someone can point you in the direction of the aid station and that's where I'll be hiding. (VOIP 242-1046)

I can fix people, just not so handy with the satellites.

Try tuning the modem a little higher up frequency, say 11243 x 100kHz.
I'm looking at the signal now and it appears to be centered around 11243 x 100kHz, but my known measurement error is about 2.2 MHz and I am having to recalibrate all the time as I am using an ancient and unstable DRO type LNB.

The HX tuning used to be 11222 x 100kHz and 5000000 sps

About two weeks ago it was changed to 11243 x 100kHz and 8000000 sps.

All active existing sites prior to the change were remotely controlled onto the new frequency and higher symbol rate.

Contact BW directly for the latest status.  Does you configuration document say 11234 or 11243 ?

Best regards, Eric.
