I am a new contributor, but I have spent the last 3 days going through many posts on this Forum. I see many looking for resellers of equipment and bandwidth. But I have not seen one post where a provider or equipment manufacturer is talking about the lack of marketing spend for VSAT products and services in Africa.
If we are going to make the great strides made by the mobile (GSM) market, VSAT manufacturers and network providers will need to match marketing spend to revenue expectation.
So for everyone looking for a reseller, what is going to be your marketing commitment to raise awareness of your product and services in support of your local reseller?
How do get the next 10 million broadband subscribers?
Who is contributing to making pricing transparent and fair?
Might be a controversial post - but I would like to know your comments.
