openAMIP question

Hello,
Does anybody know what this openAMIP standard is ?- it shows up in some of the spec sheets. Is it some TCP protocol ? which TCP port number does it use and what is it for ?

Not 100% sure, but I think it deals with Comms on the move antennas and their TCP/IP properties. The new(er) software allows the HNO to configure the Seatel, etc antennas with an IP. Unsure of port....

This is a new protocol that is trying to be implemented for standardizing the communication between the remote and an antenna control unit.
