The command is "laninfo" to discover the IP address.

You need to connect a console cable to your serial port on your laptop.  Login through hyperterminal with login: admin and password: iDirect

If the password changed, you'll have to get that from your service provider.

download the quick reference guide

If you have a copy of the option file, just open it up with a text editor and read the IP address.

It might not be enough for you to just type laninfo. Please login and type "Telnet 0 (Zero, not O), enter admin as login and the iDirect as password or whichever you have on your modem, then type the command "ifconfig at the # sign ".Try it now.
