Infinity 3100 Lnb power steady Red

Good day
There is this infinity 3100 on my desk. when it comes up, after boot, the lnb power indicator shows steady red.
Telnet into the modem, I get reponse. Enter via console and boot is complete as normal. Just that the lnb power indicator stays steady red.
No RX lock of course. Have tried with 2 different LNBs and changed cables.
Any help on how to recover this equipment. It is a brand new modem, only 1 week old. Happened after a surge that even an APC surge arrest could not help.
Does it point to a damaged infinity?
Please help me out.

Yes, you will have to RMA it. The electronic circuit breaker is damaged. If a power off and on does not reset it then it needs to be returned for replacement.
