rx freq <val> active immediately or after re

if I issue

rx freq <value>

on an iDirect series 3000 satellite router, does the setting become active immediately or do I need to write to flash and reset?

When you plug an Lband frequency into an iDirect unit (through command line) it becomes effective immediately. That said, the unit will have to be rebooted to return to the original frequency plan specified in the options file (falcon).

When you specify a freq via command line (tx or rx) it is stored in temp memory ONLY (hence the reason for the reboot - to clear it)
