The Hotbird satellites at 13 deg east are visible from, and have coverage beams down to, Europe, the Middle east and Africa.
The Hotbird satellites at 13 deg east are below the south east horizon from the point of view of anyone in the USA.
These pictures show views of the earth from satellites above 90 deg West and 10 deg East longitude.

I suggest you review https://www.lyngsat.com and see if you can find satellites within +/- 50 deg of 95 deg west that have programming that you might want. https://www.sadoun.com do free-to-air receivers that are tuneable to unusual satellites.
Best regards, Eric.
