If you wish to simply migrate to another service provider it would be helpful to say what satellite you are presently pointed at and what technology modems are used (e.g. LinkStar, iDirect, Hughes, Gilat, CDM570 etc) and what model LNB and model BUC is used. Ideally you want a new service provider operating on the same satellite with the same technology.

Less advantageous would be a need to move to another satellite or a change of modems at all sites to match the new service provider.

If your technology is old you may find that replacing the modems is a good idea to take advantage of the new 8-PSK or DVB-S2 on the outlink which should increase your overall traffic capacity for the same cost as before.

Best regards, Eric.

Dear SatNew,

Before you migrate your 30 Link's to other satellite, you'd better done link budget culculation to see transponder power occupation for your link, SSPA capacity, etc.

Because different satellite have different parameters.
