A shared service suitable for 1 PC, used lightly, will typically be about $70 per month. This will offer about 10kbit/s average download speed. The maximum download speed quoted will be much higher to grab your attention. If 400 people are sharing then "up to 4 Mbit/s" might be the sales pitch.
For $20 per month expect no more than 3.5 kbit/s. The service is not "unlimited" but is in fact "severely limited by congestion and competition from all the other simultaneous users".
Any service provider describing shared services as unlimited gets banned from this forum and all references to their services are deleted to comply with the law regarding misleading advertising.
Best regards, Eric.
