remote link not steady

Hi,
We have remote in central africa. I know that there is problem with the power and rain. But through i have only 56% uptime. Rest of the time i see error related to lat_timeout or ll_down or ucp_lost_contact. Can anybody also explain what are these problem relate to?

RF Questions:

1. Ku or Cband?

2. What is your TDMA UCP set to?

3. What are the upstream and downstream SNR stats telling you with the remote loses the UCP and the LL is down.

4. When observing the remotes "Events and Conditions" tab (in iMonitor) are you seeing any power offsets (from the NMS) just prior to the observed dropout?

Utilization Questions:

1. Does the node have an Max Info Rate set or any rate shapes at all?

2. Have you observed any heavy utilization on this node? Any chance of sarmy getting overwhelmed from an attack of sorts?
