Questions:
1) Can they reset your terminal (since you stated that you have an rx LED)? 2) Does your modem's tx LED illuminate ever? Even briefly? 3) Can you telnet to the modem? If so, I want you to run the command acq on Can you see ACQ sweep commands destined for your box? You should if the hub has you activated.
If they havent already done so, have the Hub or Controllers bring you up CW on a lonely chunk of transponder. Pop it up CW (pure carrier) followed by modulated (PN) carrier and confirm the Tx IF/RF chain is good. Once that is confirmed, you can start looking at the options file.
Questions for the Hub:
1) Are there other customers using the network you presently reside in (If so, it is unlikely there is an acquisiton range issue). 2) Are you activated and has your activation status been applied to the hub?
Best guess, (based on what I hear)....I am thinking you have an issue with your BUC/SSPA or possibly a faulty cable on the uplink chain. That or the hub does not have you activated (unlikely, but possible).
