using the WIldblue APA

can anyone go over the exact process for modem provisioning using the WIldblue APA ..after the sat signal has been found etc...
how you hook it up etc,....

I heard in the last few days that the APA is no longer needed for WB installs.
Something new the company put out. Can you verify that...??
