Got your attention? Has anyone heard any info to support this interesting currently advertised service offered by a national Greek provider?

Tooway - 4mb download, KU band, VoIP, unrestricted data usage, €49.00 monthly (plus tax).

So far I've not been able to find any supporting evidence for this.

I'd be interested to hear if anyone else is aware of such a package.

Meanwhile... I'll continue with 3.6 and my monthly data allowance.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

If it is true that they are advertising like this, then it is clearly misleading spam advertising. If you know who they are they will be banned from this web site.

No shared access service may be described as "unrestricted" or "unlimited" in this forum or web site.

Fair Access Policy (FAP)
Shared services operate either with FAP or without FAP. With FAP you are restricted to, but assured of, your fair share of the data transfer; without FAP you are restricted by congestion caused by others.

Shared services may cost 50 or 100 or 500 times less than dedicated services, simply because 50 or 100 or 500 sites are all sharing the same capacity. For example: 270 sites all sharing 4 Mbit/s download.
