The iDirect modem and Hughes BUC are not compatibe.

For an iDirect modem you need a standard BUC. A typical standard BUC is: NJT5024 specification data sheet

For a Hughes BUC you need a Hughes (e.g. HX) modem.

LNBs work with both iDirect and Hughes (e.g. HX) modems.

Regarding the LNB please check its model number.  There are several types suitable for different Ku band frequency blocks.

"Ku band" is rather wide, 10.7 - 12.75 GHz, and several different LNBs are needed, each covering a section of the band.  Each type has a different local oscillator frequency, used to downconvert the satellite frequency into the L band frequency within the cable to the modem.

11.7-12.2     LO=10.75 GHz    NJR2744
12.25-12.75  LO=11.3 GHz     NJR2754
10.95-11.7    LO=10 GHz       NJR2784
...

Ask your new service provider what type LNB is required to work with their service on W3A.  The type will depend on their outlink carrier frequency.

Regarding your iDirect modem, where did it come from ? If it has come from a service provider talk to them since the modem may be locked to their network.

Best regards, Eric.
