To anyone buying equipment.

If it is unusually cheap be particularly cautious. Check that you are dealing with the true owner and not some intermediate agent. Check condition of the equipment and suitablity for your application before paying any money. VSAT antennas must meet strict off axis sidelobe emission limits, which means having the correct feed horn and reflector surface tolerance. Modems may be software locked so they can only be used with the original service provider. Modems and BUCs (particularly 5 watt C band) may be stolen.

Ideally, deal with the actual manufacturer.
