Having researched a number of web sites alignment angles we took a 60cm (that a friend had previously used in France) satellite dish, Sky decoder, card, satellite finder contraption, compass etc to the south of France and tried to point it at satellite Astra 2 to receive Sky. We gained very good signal strength, quality and lock indicator but no network ID or transport stream confirmation. We are confident that the dish was aligned to 28 deg east of south (between two tall buildings) with the satellite finder confirming signal strength in the vertical and horizontal. Can anyone help?
