Hi Eric

I am Presently working on iDirect evaluation X3 modem. m unable to login to modem through iSite or telnet, only posibe way is hyper terminal.

how can i resolve this issue ?

I'm not really the person to ask I have never worked with iDirect, so maybe others can help.

As I understand it, for ethernet connection, you need your PC connected directly to the modem. Don't try via a LAN/router etc.

For serial communications you will need to get set bit rate, stop bits, data bits and parity correct. I don't have the manual to hand.

Can you give more info?
Unable to login through iSite/Telnet could be due to the password in the options file.
The Linux level password and the iSite/Telnet passwords can be set independently.

hello,
as you mention that you unable to login to x3 evolution
if your password is correct and you connected to the modem then there is a problem with option file or with the pakg mostly if the o/f is not for a pakg that not able to login .. conform the akg and find a option file for that and load it via hyperterminal .. hope its work
