Yes, by shutdown the hub remote lost connectivity with hub (online led will be off and only RX will be locked), little bit congestion will be initially if share network at hub.

But it is not recommended to shutdown hub often.

The hub system is not designed to be shutdown every night, there are functions that the servers carry out over night such as backups and consolidation scripts on the databases that really need to be done.  if you shut the system down every night and do not address these scripts you will run into problems.

If you must shutdown the servers and hub components, then you need to make sure before you do that you run the backup scripts, you must also run restore on the backup NMS.

If your remotes are not roaming, using ABS etc, then you should have no issues with them rejoining the network in the morning, but I would strongly encourage you to keep the system operational through the night.

What is the reason to shut down the servers?  Power?  Blocking system use through the night?
