Hi
We have an AUPC MITEQ in hour hub. We choose: -Mode: open loop -Power ratio:1,4 dB -Sample time: 1 s -Max step size: 1 dB
Now for calibration: Adjust the "clear sky condition" to 0 dB attenuation and save it. Then you can insert a variable attenuator between the beacon receiver and the UPC or depoint your dish by step of 1 dB. Save your point in the UPC but be careful to stop before saturate your amplifier!
Very important thing: never save two point too close from each other. The UPC can oscillate and saturate the ampli so you will see CRC error on your remote. Aso, verify you beacon receiver, you need 1 dB for 1 V.
Best regards
