VPN over Tooway Pro

Hi all,

I have a job to look into that needs a cost effective satellite solution. I need to install hopefully the Towway Pro service so that it can run 12 user terminals. All the laptops have a VPN client running on the machines. Can I use this system to allow the client to VPN into their company network for emails and intranet service? I have been told by one supplier they can offer 10mb down and 4mb up with 4 IP address for around £150 pm this seems cheap to me for this service over satellite and would this ok to run?

Any help would be great

Many thanks

I use a Cisco client VPN connection to my employer over Tooway without any issues. There is a little lag on Remote control programs (MSTSC/RDP) but its perfectly useable.

When we first got our KU band dish it was used to gain access via VPN to a .edu server all the time.....

Everybody said it wouldn't work..... well you cant be right all of the time -- Try it.... It did
