Just a reminder to anyone selling VSAT equipment. This email scam is ongoing now. Years ago it used to be called the "5 watt C band BUC scam"
A typical scam email will ask you to quote for one or more BUCs (C or Ku band), LNBs, iDirect modems, dish etc.
If you reply, they ask if you accept credit card payment. Supposed "payment" is then made using a valid credit card which has only just been stolen.
Don't dispatch goods until payment is completed and your bank has verified that the money can't be taken back if the origin eventually proves fraudulent.
Don't dispatch goods to strange locations like night club doorways for collection by the customer!
Regards, Eric.
