Hello.  My first post here.  I've just done a tooway DIY install (am a complete amateur) and already have many questions!  For the sake of clarity I'll try to ask them one at a time.  So here goes... first question:

According to "Tooway consumer Ka band terminal description" (January 2011) the TRIA (RT4000N-010) has an "electromagnetic switch of polarization guaranteed for not less than 500 switches".

As I am near the border between two spot beams, and the best Rx SNR I can get is about 11, the system when it starts up tries both beams alternately, several times, before eventually locking on to the correct one.  Every time it switches from trying one beam to trying the other, the TRIA emits an audible 'clunk'.  Presumably that is the 'electromagnetic switch' operating.

So should I be worried about using up my quota of 500 'clunks' way before the expected lifetime of the equipment?
