Minimum received parameters

Can someone help me out?  I am looking for the absolute minimum requirements for a iDirect modem to get RX lock.  Basically what must be correct on both the NMS and the modem OPT file for the remote to get RX lock in order to push a new OPT file.

Thanks

first you should check what modcod settings you have in the HUB and the modem. this would then determine what CN the modem would use. If DVBS2 then it will use the lowest modcod. If using DVB then it will only accept the MODCOD specified in the downstream carrier. Check the idirect settings to see what CN you should achieve.

As soon as you get RX lock you should be able to push via UDP the config down to the remote.
