I am trying to develop an antenna control unit which can communicate with iDirect X7 modem. Currently I try to coding very basic commands accroding to OpenAMIP document "OpenAMIP-Standard-Revision-E.pdf".

When I connect my laptop to iDirect X7 (LAN port) with ethernet cable. I can log in with admin (the ID and password in iDirect X7 user manual) by using Putty tool. X7 did output some messages but I did not observe any "OpenAMIP messages" send from X7.

Does anyone know how to go futrher let me can say "hello! X7" to modem? Should I enter some specific mode? Any configuration I should set to modem?
